Dining is one of the few daily activities that bring a family together and entertainment of family and friends almost always involves some sort of dining. Although many dining rooms have been partially replaced by a casual area in the kitchen for everyday meals, the dining room still remains a focal point for special occasions and more formal gatherings. Like the Living room, the dining room is a room that is often visible when guest first arrive and can make an impression as to the home owner’s tastes and affluence.
